A former telecommunications and customer training expert, Katie took time off to raise children and actively volunteer. A lifelong passion for design, colour and decorating lead to her enrollment in Interior Design courses for personal development. Early into the program she realized that this could evolve into her next career. After completing all programs Katie went directly to work as an independent, and later with another Edmonton design firm. Her flair for colour and creative designs paired with invaluable business and customer service experience is a recipe for success. She appreciates the beauty of every style and enjoys each challenge.
Maier teamed up with her business partner Shelley Ollinger and established Volaré Interiors in 2006.
